The Network Security Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and troubleshooting of security infrastructure. This individual will utilize extensive knowledge of Cisco gear and carrier networks to develop best practices and meet specific design goals. They also need to have in-depth knowledge of configuration and installation of various enterprise class voice over IP devices, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic tools. Strong experience in the following developing tools are required: X Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ASA X At least 5 years experience deploying, configuring, and administering Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls X Expertise with various routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) X Experience in managing site-to-site and remote access VPNs X Maintain intelligent firewall rule sets X Operate intrusion detection systems X Understanding of network security methodologies as a whole, including but not limited to: ACLs, stateful firewalls, VPNs (tunneling, IPsec, PPTP, etc.) X Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including administration of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (OSI layers 4-7) X In-depth knowledge of implementing Cisco VPN solutions or others X In-depth knowledge of implementing secure Wi-Fi access points X In-depth knowledge of HP switching equipment Experience in the following developing tools are a plus: X At least 5+ years of data center experience X Having certifications X Knowledge of SAN technologies X Knowledge of virtualization in the data center   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
