Job Description Engineer: Architect, APEX Application, JAMF MDM Administration,

Description :

Responsibilities:

· Lead, organize, schedule and conduct requirement gathering discussions.

· Take responsibility for reviewing the requirements and having them signed off by all stake holders

· Analyze the existing environment and provide necessary inputs to the Lead Engineer/Solution Architect/Chief

· Engineer/Enterprise Architect on developing a baseline architecture

· Develop and engineer a solution for the desirable/agreed target state and provide the Lead Engineer/Solution Architect/Chief

· Engineer/Enterprise Architect with inputs on developing the target architecture

· Assist the Solution Architect/Chief Engineer/Enterprise Architect with identifying, evaluating and selecting products to be used in target solutions

· Perform due diligence, gap analysis, and develop and present remediation plans to address gaps

· Produce GEQMS deliverables like DPS, TDS, EWO and Bill of Materials

· Help the implementation team with implementation issues and address questions regarding implementations

· Assist Lead Engineers/Solution Architects/Chief Engineers/Enterprise Architects with development and review of presales technical solution proposals

· Participate in war rooms oh high severity incidents and provide the operations teams with expert advice and guidance on resolving the incidents

· Provide accounts with consulting on enhancing functionalities, capacity, performance, stability and availability of the existing environments



Education and Experience:

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Mathematics or physical sciences.

· Minimum IT experience of 8 years with relevant experience of a minimum of 5 years.



Technical Skills:

· Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Apple products, Apple OSX.

· Knowledge of Mac OS X development environments and tools.

· Proficiency with Objective-C, Cocoa and Xcode

· Adequate knowledge of JAMF Casper Management Suits including Casper Admin, Casper Imaging and Composer.

· Adequate level of knowledge on the latest editions and at least two older editions of macOS including virtual memory, performance parameters and networking fundamentals

· Familiarity with Cross Platform Mobile Development Techniques.

· Adequate knowledge of Active Directory Services and Site Topologies

· Extensive knowledge on sizing and designing and architecting mac OS.

· Adequate knowledge on server hardware configuration and server builds

· Basic knowledge of iOS.

· Adequate knowledge of Mac OS build and packaging process like with Package Maker.

· Develop new image for Mac OS X and to resolve imaging issues.

· Extensive knowledge on deploying and distribution of Mac OS and applications.



Desirable Technical Skills:

· Knowledge on scripting (Perl/Shell)

· Knowledge on Linux/Mac systems

· Non-Technical skills - Excellent verbal and written communication and articulation skills

· Excellent presentation skill

· Ability to create cost effective solutions

· Ability to identify and convert challenges into opportunities

· Ability to understand and internalize quality frameworks and create solutions and deliverables that comply with them

· Ability to collaborate with cross
