Document System Requirements Develop design specifications by interpreting business requirements and understanding architectural standards (i.e. Mapping and Technical Design documents) Lead moderately complex JAD sessions Provide consultative support for the Data Warehouse Team Understand interface points of systems (Data Modeling Design) Provide input specifications for test plans Partner with Business Analyst and other IT staff to ensure the design fulfills business and technical requirements Execute system testing and review test results for any system modification Are assigned to design, develop and maintain tables in DB2/Mainframe Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships Internal and external Participate in User Acceptance Testing Must have a proficient knowledge of Date Warehousing, SQL, DB2 and System Testing. Understand the requirements gathering methodologies and System Development Life Cycle. Understand the typical architecture standards and can apply them in their design work.
