Identify opportunities to drive business outcomes and drive for value realization through an Enterprise Architecture approach. Through a broad perspective, understand technology trends, anticipate the impact of emerging technologies, and help to prepare the organization to capitalize on opportunities Day to Day Responsibilities: • Represent assigned functional areas in all Enterprise Architecture forums while driving alignment to central standards and guidelines • Deliver both defined and ad-hoc Enterprise Architecture services to assigned business domain including development of strategies and roadmaps • Maintain business capability models and technology reference models • Develop key standards, guidance, and reference architectures as a leader of at least one Architecture Domain Team, along with an extended Architecture Community of Practice • Participate in Architecture Governance, including ARB and architecture innovation board • Develop capabilities which will drive effective business outcomes • Govern technology introduction in assigned area to drive business outcomes while reducing risk and driving standardization. • Be the bridge: between EA and functional IT areas, between EA and operational areas • Be the custodian of the Enterprise Archtiecture, which evolves primarily through project and technology investments; the role seeks to align these investments to optimize business outcomes • Focus on trusted data and data flows as “ring zero” of digital transformation-enabling architecture • Function as trusted advisor and internal management consultant to the assigned functional IT area Requirements: • Must haves (at least 3): o Pharma/ Life sciences background o Experience working with 4 regions: Asia Pacific, Europe, Canada, US o Heavy Applications Architecture Educational & Experience: • BA or BS degree required. Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or related field preferred. Significant busiess and/or technology background a requirement for the role. • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning and/or business analysis • 6+ years related pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical consulting work required. 6+ years of experience working in a business partnering or consulting/advisory role at a mid-to-senior executive level. • 7+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as pharmaceutical business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment • Fluency in Japanese or German a plus. • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks / methodologies such as TOGAF (preferred), DODAF, FEAF, Zachmann   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
