The Consultant will function in a delivery capacity and is required to advance their skill set in order to provide relevant expertise to customers. Network Architects and Consultants provide services in a variety of areas as mentioned below which is including, but not limited. • Perform network services on a variety of customer engagements to result in 100% billable time on average • At least 10-15 years of experience in the architecture/design, development and implementation of large scale Wide Area Network (WAN) architectures with a strong focus on network, firewall, load balance, router and DMZ architecture • Extensive knowledge and experience with network. (e.g. Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, WAN, Packet Analysis, Firewall, Load Balancing, Web Proxy, IP Telephony, Capacity Planning, IT Tools and other relevant technologies • Proven background in Network Architecture/Design Consulting • Collaborates with multiple IT areas to identify network relationships and functional requirements • Should be customer-facing and set and manage expectations with client stake-holders and team members • Demonstrated ability to make and take responsibility for decisions on major technical issues • Thorough knowledge and experience with Network security standards (Network architecture analysis, Network Administration, DMZ, Load balancer and Firewall Engineering) • Ability to develop, read, interpret, analyze and communicate Level 3 network diagrams • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives • Resilience and ability to handle stressful situations effectively while managing several tasks • Communicate with the client regarding pertinent information security issues and provide periodic network architecture, design, configuration, and security posture updates • Ability to work within a defined change management process and willingness to participate in periodic after-hours scheduled maintenance • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining on how to accomplish a task • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and demonstrate initiative • At least two industry leading certifications, such as CCIE (Written and Lab), CCNP, CCDP, CISSP • Advise on network design and security architecture • Provides support for complex network and infrastructure engineering/implementation activities • Experience with network and performance management tools, security tools and appliances, layer 2 technologies, wireless technologies • Significant experience in performing and delivering data center migration projects. • Ability to architect, design, configure networking, firewall, load balance protocols • Ability to provide oversight and guidance to DMZ design and implementation • Ability to design and implement High Availability (HA) solutions • In depth implementation and troubleshooting experience of networks using concepts/protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) • Knowledge of common network, authentication and security protocols (e.g. SNMP, TLS, SSL DNS, HTTPS, SMTP, LDAP, KERBEROS, RADIUS and FTPS) • Data Center migration and fail-over experience • Hands on Cisco experience (Heavy routing/switching Cisco Nexus series) • VLAN security and design • Palo Alto Firewall design and implementation (performs analysis, design and development of firewall rules) • Ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and gather team consensus moving forward • Experience with Netapp Metrocluster • Hands on   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
