The 3rd shift is a very critical shift in that its the final hours leading up to having all the clients data and environments production ready for start of day. The clients expect processing to be completed at or before 7:00am so they can begin validating yesterdays trades / cash balances and begin to work up trade orders in preparation for the stock market open. Support is being provided for over 300+ clients most of which have some unique processing requirements that will require proper time to research issue resolution. There are also clients that have SLAs with milestones that need to be met throughout the night. Focuses on day to day batch operation tasks and deliverables within enterprise batch processing supporting multiple BUs. Provides basic production operations support working effectively with functional teams to drive timely analysis and solutions. Perform 1st level analysis to all data interface processing exceptions. Analyzes and resolves moderately to complex issues specific to the operational processes that support the clients processing stream. Following defined process, tools and escalation paths issues will aggressively be investigated and resolved in a timely and accurate manner. Elevates unresolved specific issues and problems for resolution following defined on call support paths. Actively will participate and support all nightly production operations environments that consist of multiple servers, batch mode processing and execution of client specific production cycles. Data collection and transmittal of production files that span across many data providers, suppliers and clients. Will effectively communicate with other staff, clients and data suppliers in regards to production processing deliverables and status. Demonstrated experience with batch processing operations and responsibilities. Ability to analyze a process, identify issues and aggressively drive solutions in a timely and effective manner working with various resources both internally and externally. Ability to work on common production operations objectives in a team environment. Ability to communicate verbally written well with other Associates, clients and data vendors / suppliers.
