A key component of success for this project is the continued support of the existing ERP environment and the associated Data Warehouse systems. As a result, the OCIO DW Team needs to incrementally increase resources for the area that supports the existing Data Warehouse, including systems, operations, ETL flows, reporting tools, and data troubleshooting. Essential Functions: Responsibility will be production support of the implemented systems through formal SDLC model. Administers the existing Business Intelligence and reporting software environment including performing technical incident resolution in conjunction with application and business teams; Performs application performance monitoring and tuning; production and test environment support. Develops and supports business intelligence and reporting solutions including requirements gathering and analysis; designing, building, testing, security best practices, documenting and deploying reports and dashboards; Will be responsible in the stabilization of the production support system; eReports, Data Warehouse and/or the Data Marts through the use of the Systems Development Life Cycle support model: root-cause analysis of reported problems; identification of potential solutions and associated efforts; design, development and unit test of solutions; design and code reviews of other analysts / developers solutions. Participates in the rotating on-call support of the Data Warehouse and/or the Data Marts: supports the nightly load process; follow defined processes for problem resolution and user notification. Experience: In-depth knowledge & understanding of data warehouse system components such as relational databases, operating systems, hardware, data quality approaches, etc. ETL tools such Ascential & IBM DataStage or Oracle Warehouse Builder, SQL, data mapping - source to target Experience implementing security best practices in a data warehouse environment, strong collaboration, written, & oral communication skills In depth knowledge of eReports (Hyperion Brio) administration and development Required: 5 to 7 years of general Data Warehouse experience (designing, coding, testing, optimizing) ETL and/or reporting 5 - 7 years of supporting DW environments, including participating in troubleshooting and nightly on-call activities to resolve data flow failures and issues 3 - 5 years in developing with DataStage and/or Oracle Warehouse Builder 3 - 5 years in working with AutoSys or other enterprise batch scheduling tools Must possess excellent data validation, organization, and test documenting skills Must possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Must possess excellent communication skills and have deep experience working with many varied user groups simultaneously   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
