Candidate must be local : Yes Job Description : Title: Sr. QA Tester Location: Columbus, OH Contract: 6+ monhts It is currently seeking a Sr. QA Tester. The qualified candidate will: Support Enterprise Services team by bridging the gap between our team, the business and IT partners. Collaborate with Project team, Consumer Channels, and Architecture team to elicit requirements, and support the scoping and solution of these projects. Work closely with Project Managers and Technical Managers to formulate delivery plans and deliver according to the planned schedule. Support the development and test teams through testing phases including defect support ensuring the services are functioning accurately and also in accordance with the defined business objectives. Support production support team by analyzing production issues, defining requirements for the possible fix and getting it prioritized for development. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of overall technical experience 5+ years of QA Testing experience in a corporate environment – manual test experience including detailed test script creation and execution Must hve experience with HP Quality Center Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including proven experience communicating with stakeholders and communicating project status updates in meetings Any automation experience is a plus – experience with tools such as Selenium, Ruby cucumber, etc. Erience in business and IT business analysis, project management and detailed documentation. Strong communication and project coordination skills. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle Experience in conducting requirements analysis/JAD sessions to interact with business/technical partners to understand and gather requirements. Excellent analytical skills with a basic knowledge of IT architecture preferred. Track project progress and escalate any known issues. Responsible for project reporting. Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications (MS-Office required and Visio preferred) or other requirements management tools. Experience with Quality Center Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, leadership, and negotiation. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience. Other Traits and Characteristics: Must have strong SQL and Database (DB2) skills Quality Center Azure experience a + Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts preferred.
