Azure AWS GIS Architect SaaS AgileScrum Environment Architect (Jobs in Richmond,   Requirement id 142371 Job title Architect Job location in Richmond, VA Skills required Instructional Design, Azure, AWS, GIS Architect SaaS AgileScrum Environmen Open Date 20-Jul-2023 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 11 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Architect: Instructional Design, Azure, AWS, GIS Architect SaaS AgileScrum Environmen Hybrid Start date :07/24/2023 End Date :06/30/2024 Submission deadline :7/25/2023 Client Info :VDOT Description : ------------------------------------------------------ **local candidates strongly preferred **candidate must be able to come to Richmond, VA to pick up laptop *the contract may be extended beyond June 30, 2023, possibly for 6-12+ months **be certain to share the full job description and skills matrix with your candidate directly and make sure your candidate has reviewed and understands the full scope of the expectations • Create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integration and implementations for a particular business solution. • Lead efforts in defining, documenting and estimating the following for enterprise applications. • Capture requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, on- prem, hybrid and cloud topologies, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, system inputs and output. • Collaborate with other IT staff to assess business needs and requirements and translate them into automated solutions • Produce relevant solution design artifacts including but not limited to technical estimates, conceptual, logical and physical system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models • Coordinate new system development to ensure it is consistent and well integrated with existing application systems and COTS solutions • Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs; and will consult with clients to prototype, architect, and design applications to meet needs. • Collaborate with Business areas and cross- functional Enterprise Architects to fully understand business needs and provide strategic consultation • Partner with architects, other technical team members and to develop roadmaps and strategies to support agency KPIs • Design/Implement Enterprise Security/technology Patterns • Consult with teams as needed on initiatives and provide tactical direction as well as provide architecture considerations on legacy solutions Qualifications: • Experience with SAFe architecture and proven work experience with Agile/Scrum teams. • Proven experience in developing enterprise and solution level architectural designs. • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems. • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping. • Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques. • Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc. • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. • Competency with XML constructs and schemas. • Confidence and experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST. • Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements. • Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives. • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment. • Excellent communication and documentation skills,   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
