Using PowerBI to access the newly created Data Warehouse to build reports/dashboards. This resource will work with new Azure technologies and platforms. Resource will perform all development activities within the defined parameters adhering to DW Architecture guidelines. A. PURPOSE AND GOALS • This resource will be a member of the Data & Reporting team, leading the development of PowerBI dashboards, reports, and PowerBI models. PROJECT-SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE To accomplish this project, WAHBE seeks an experienced (i.e., senior level or above), PowerBI Resource with the following experience and qualifications: o Expert in PowerBI development o Experience with DAX – e.g., able to write calculate functions o 3+ years of experience building PowerBI reports including data import, transformation, and mapping o 3+ years of experience in working with SSAS tabular/multi-dimensional cubes o Strong client-facing written and oral communications skills o Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Azure AAS) o Experience in Data Warehousing, data modeling o Advanced analytics, SQL, and data visualization ITPS Work Request o Experience with data platforms such as Oracle, SQL o Experience with one or more data and reporting tools such as SSRS, PowerBI o Hands-on with demonstrated sense of urgency o The ability to plan work and meet deadlines o Accuracy and attention to detail o Able to communicate with clarity and precision o Displays positive, constructive, and helpful demeanor to assist/mentor team members DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead effort in designing, creating, and maintaining dashboards and reports using the newly created DW • Lead customer workshops to identify dashboard and report requirements • Configure data intake using query and its formula language • Create data model • Write calculations using Data Analysis Expression (DAX) • Provide users support • Configure users access to PowerBI Reports • Analyze complex SQL store procedure and transform it to reports • Perform extract, transform, join, and project data from disparate sources • Create automated pipeline to refresh data in Cubes and PowerBI reports • Experience in working with PowerBI gateway • Perform data cleansing and data profiling • Document, collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders • Coordinate and communicate between business users and the data engineering teams • Organize and lead meetings with business and operational data owners • Work closely with business stakeholders, data, and reporting team to perform data transformation • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues • Ability to work with large amounts of data and find conclusions with attention to detail • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ad-hoc/ongoing reports and dashboards • Analyze complex data and extract valuable insights in a compelling summarized view to present to management • Prepare ad-hoc management reports, research, and analysis Bid URL: https://www.wahbexchange.org/   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
