This position will serve as a vital link between businesses and technology; with primary responsibility for planning and designing next-generation data platform to facilitate structured and unstructured data needs of organization. You will also help build a standard common business vocabulary, develop strategic data requirements and outline high level integrated designs to meet these requirements. Will closely work in collaboration with Cloud solution architecture group and aligns enterprise data strategy with related business architecture. You will work on a variety of complex business problems such as forecasting, personalization, and inventory optimization etc. while creating blueprints for future data management systems. You will be leading POC efforts to define a solution road map for varying use cases in enterprise and possesses ability to multitask, able to take charge and lead tasks to completion. Responsibilities Set data architecture principles, create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision. Define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems Develop a robust Data Vault design to provide long-term historical storage of data coming in from multiple operational systems Assess companys potential data sources (internal and external) and architect design a plan to integrate, centralize, protect and maintain them. Collaborate with IT teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses DTNAs industry requirements Build an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture ; Research new opportunities for data acquisition Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow through an organization Design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications (e.g. large relational databases). Integrate technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc.) Develop and design a migration path for legacy on Prem data/datawarehosue to Data lake on Microsoft Azure platform Lead Data Quality improvement initiatives and Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility Support the planning and implementation of data design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance and performing needs assessments Delivery of architectures for transformations and modernizations of enterprise data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies. Design and Build Modern Data Pipelines and Data Streams and build Data Service APIs. Develop and maintain data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics. Maintain a corporate repository of all data architecture artifacts and procedures Collaborate on various POC efforts for every use case to provide technical insights and identify business benefits through new data insights Present POC findings to Manager and Steering Committee and enabling them to decide strategic alignment of given effort.
