Youll be expected to work in an Agile Development environment deliver the migrated application on budget and on time. The Azure Architect / Dev Ops Engineer shall refactor the architecture of existing on premise applications and to migrate the application to the Air Force CCE Azure environments in support of cloud migration assessments under general direction. SPECIFIC TASKS: Work with migration team to ensure all the new components work in Azure GovCloud per the migration proposed architecture plan Implement, Test, and validate necessary infrastructure components Implement, Test, validate necessary pipeline Refactor and migrate SQL Database into AF Azure GovCloud environment Root cause analysis of functional issues associated with the application and the pipeline Input for technical content on documentation delivered as part of the migration (Test plan, O&M plan, Configuration Mgmt. plan, etc.) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field At least 5+ years of experience in migrating applications from on premise to the Azure Cloud At least 3+ years of experience in migrating large volumes of data using standard Azure automation tools from on premise and cloud infrastructure to Azure Experience designing service management, orchestration, and monitoring and management requirements of Azure cloud platform At least 5+ years hands on configuration and management of a cloud based software solution running on Microsoft Azure Experience with CI & CD tools and processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; commitment to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently and with increasing quality Strong knowledge of internet technologies DESIRED QUALIFIICATIONS: Certification in Azure platform Excellent knowledge of J2EE, .NET, and cloud technologies development languages and tools Experience helping development teams build and deploy micro services based applications in public cloud Knowledge / experience with UNIX/Linux environments Should have knowledge of networks, firewalls, and VPN configurations. Automation experience PowerShell/Shell scripts is required.
