Description: OVERVIEW Enterprise Data Architect will be instrumental to support the architecture for the Group Data and Analytics Strategy. Lead and assist the Enterprise Architecture team in shaping and implementing its overall Enterprise Reference Data Architecture. Interpretation, use and application of the Data Architecture is required to inform and govern a range of IT solutions, particularly during inception, and design phases. The Enterprise Data Architect will help ensure Data Architecture artifacts are maintained and, when required, used to support IT teams in a consultative/partnering manner. In addition the Enterprise Data Architect is expected to conduct Proof of Concepts, ideate options, and embrace newer technologies that support business goals and align with Data Strategies. The Enterprise Data Architect will report directly to the Head of Enterprise Architecture with matrix based reporting to the Center of Excellence (COE) Head of Data and the Chief Data Officer (CDO). The incumbent will work with the CDO to ensure data architectures support data strategies and with the COE Head of Data to ensure architectures support tooling, best practices and standards. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The role is responsible for the following: Maintain the Enterprise Data Architecture Strategy and Reference Data Architecture Define a Roadmap for implementing the Enterprise Data Architecture Strategy and Reference Data Architecture Conduct Data Product/Platform reviews and evaluations Define & maintain Data Architecture Policies, Processes, Standards and Best practices Define and implement Data Governance procedures Participate in technical innovation proof-of-concepts, where required Conduct Data Architecture reviews Create Conceptual data models and review Logical, Physical and Canonical data models Review and approve Relational, Object/Document based and Analytics data models Responsible for Reference data management, Business intelligence reporting, Predictive/Reactive decision support, Business rules management, Logical data warehouse, Data marts, Data migrations, ETLs and Archiving Review and approve Master Data Management, Meta Data Management, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Quality Management policies and procedures Ensure Corporate and Regulatory compliance REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Degree in Computer Science 10+ years relevant data architecture experience (certification) Experience is establishing Data Analytics environments (incl. related integration, governance, automated deployments, infrastructure, Metrics (KPIs)) Proven track record in developing Cloud Data Strategies, Best Practices and Standards Experience Data Governance, Data Retention, Data Storage, and Data Service Integration Exposure to Multi-Cloud and Cloud environments – especially Azure Experience working with technology staff at all levels (developers, database administrators, application experts) – especially in a Dev-Ops structure Technical understanding of Emerging technologies – Cloud, Hadoop, Data streaming, NoSQL, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence etc Personality and Leadership Skills Solid communicator – verbal, oral and presentation skills; able to present highly technical subject matter across a variety of stakeholder levels Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
