Description: Business Intelligence Analyst Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst (BI Analyst) understands business strategy and designs reporting to provide actionable information to support strategic decision-making. This position also facilitates development of reporting solutions to meet the operational data needs of business areas across the organization. This position analyzes, visualizes, and provides analytics on large amounts of diverse data to tell a story and produce executive reports for the senior leadership team. The BI Analyst is also responsible for gathering requirements and designing reporting applications working closely with business users and developers. Job-Specific Requirements: Must have a Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Information Systems). Must have at least three years of experience in data extraction and analysis using BI tools. Must have at least three years of experience in designing BI dashboards and reporting applications. Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting is required. Must have the ability to manipulate large data sets and identify trends using BI tools. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Must have strong communications skills in relating complex subject matter to senior management.
