Job Description : BI Data Architect **Role** The Data Architect plays a critical role in making sure our business intelligence and data strategy is envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to support our strategic business goals. The candidate brings extreme passion and advocacy to building a culture of data driven decision making by helping to develop outstanding information management solutions. The BI Architect must be able to think holistically across the organization. The Data Architect is expected to understand current and future reporting and warehousing technologies in order to consult on and help design forward-looking solutions for both business intelligence and advanced analytics. • *Skills and Requirements** • Possess knowledge and passion in creating data solutions for uncover insights and drive business performance. • 7+ years of hands on experience in data warehouse design, development, and data modeling (relational, dimensional etc.) best practices. • 5+ year do experience in SQL Server Query Performance Optimization, Database design and Advanced features – Merge Statements, Temporal Tables, In-memory development practices, etc. • ETL experience in SSIS preferred, experience with Complex transformations and Incremental data loads • 3+ years of experience with SSAS with At least 1 year with Tabular models, Performant cube design and Strong knowledge of best practices in tabular model design. • Experience using DAX as a query language, to include more than defining measures, Troubleshooting performance on complex queries/measures • Experience with SSRS – Using SSAS as a data source, Passing complex parameters to query, Dynamic queries in data sources • Experience in consulting, coaching and partnering with technical and business team on solutions and best practices. • Ability to communicate technical concepts with the business in laymans terms to align communication to audience. • Ability to help business users visualize better technical solutions and sell BTs vision. • Ability to produce technical requirement documents and diagrams as and when needed. • Willing to roll up sleeves when needed to knock out complex reports or business level data extractions as needed.
