Performance tuning and Troubleshooting Monitor IMS and DB2 databases space utilization Work with Change control and application teams for coordination with Production Release implementation Maintenance procedures using BMC Utilities (COPY, REORG, MODIFY, RECOVER) Review, implement, and maintain security procedures across the databases Provide advice and support to development resources. 24x7 on-call support rotation (DB2 and IMS applications) Participate in all event bridges and lead the technical trouble-shooting and implementation of the solution. Lead the postmortem technical meeting with the application, technical teams and partner vendors. MUST HAVE SKILLS: *6-10 years mainframe IMS (on-line and batch) and DB2 z O/S DBA expertise *Experience with Delta IMS and HALDB and fast path databases *Strong knowledge of SQL coding for performance on DB2 z/OS *Experience with basic Explain tool for SQL and understanding of DB2 access paths *Experience with IBM and BMC tools *Experience working in a TSO/ISPF environment and Endevor *Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions *Willing to work a 24/7 on-call rotation *Availability to provide weekend/off-hours support as needed *Strong communication skills *Strong work ethic *Demonstrates good interpersonal skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
