BPMN Analyst (Jobs in Harrisburg, PA)   Requirement id 17810 Job title Analyst Job location in Harrisburg, PA Skills required BPMN, User Requirements, Requirements Analysis, Open Date 18-Mar-2014 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screen and Face to Face interview Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: BPMN, User Requirements, Requirements Analysis, Description: * The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization. • Conducting Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis. • Creating workflows using formal notation such as the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). • Developing business goals and outcomes - project initiation document, what the needed achievements will be, and the quality measures. • Developing Functional requirements - describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirements. • Developing User (stakeholder) requirements - are a very important part of the deliverables, the needs of the stakeholders will have to be correctly interpreted. This deliverable can also reflect how the product will be designed, developed, and define how test cases must be formulated. • Developing Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements –requirements that do not perform a specific function for the business requirement but are needed to support the functionality. For example: performance, scalability, quality of service (QoS), security and usability. • Developing Report Specifications - define the purpose of a report, its justification, attributes and columns, owners and runtime parameters. • Developing Requirements Traceability Matrix - a cross matrix for recording the requirements through each stage of the requirements gathering process. • Detailed “As Is” and “To Be” process maps (preferred format is Visio, but narrative process outlines may also be necessary). • Comprehensive requirements (categories listed above)s associated with mapped processes. • Agendas, meeting minutes, status reports for varying stakeholders and sponsors at varying intervals during the assignment. • Draft Project Plans/Project Charters, if required. Required Skills: * Solid experience working as a Business Analyst * Experience creating workflows using formal notation such as the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). * Experience conducting Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis * Experience developing Functional, User, and Quality-of-Service requirements * Experience creating detailed “As Is” and “To Be” process maps * Experience developing business goals and outcomes - project initiation document, what the needed achievements will be, and the quality measures. * Experienced developing graphic representations of complex business processes. * Experience preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and status reports * Experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrix * Working knowledge of project management methodologies. * Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies * Strong organization and writing skills. * 4-year college degree or equivalent. * Solid communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
