The successful applicant will work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Software Engineers, Operations, and Quality Assurance Engineers in a highly collaborative environment to provide quality software and solutions. Essential Functions: Clear understanding of multi-tier (2-3) Web application architecture Architect, designing, writing and implementing Java applications on Linux Rich Java development experience Participates in the full SDLC (Agile), including meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions. Works with business analysts to understand and implement complex business functionality. Collaborating with Architects, QA, and other Software Engineering resources in designing, implementing and integrating enterprise solutions Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 5 years experience OR Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and 3 years experience. 5+ years full life cycle software development experience in core Java, JEE platform (CDI, JPA, EJB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS), Spring MVC and Hibernate 3+ years experience developing APIs primarily with REST/JSON 3+ years experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone Continuous integration experience, code test coverage, and source control using Maven, Jenkins, GIT Tomcat or JBoss experience preferred Hands-on experience creating UML designs for software architecture Ability and desire to take product/project ownership Ability to thrive in a can-do proactive environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
