We have a 24-month project with our client in New York, NY that requires a SQL Server Developer, Senior Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: · Support and configure installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment. · Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment. · Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals. · Install, inspect, secure and troubleshoot networked computers. · Install network software, including security or firewall software. Install new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with existing network systems. · Back up network data. · Monitor NYMTC website for information about patches, releases, viruses, or potential problem identification. · Backup databases and develop and test recovery plans so that the data can be restored quickly. · Write SQL statements, manage databases, optimize databases, manage SharePoint site. · Support for Geographic Information System & NYMTCs enterprise Best Practice Model, Work on Azure Cloud Services, Work on Ubuntu & Related Software · Hardware and related software procurement · Filling out NYSITSM Service Now forms · Working with WebEx, Webcasting, & Webinar software Mandatory Qualifications: · Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms · 60 – 84 months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: · 72 Months VOIP Experience · 72 Months Experience with Windows Server & Ubuntu · 72 Months of experience with Backup/Recovery Software, including Azure and Backup Exec · 48 Months of experience in Designing, Planning, and Implementing Active Directory Infrastructure · 60 Months of experience in Configuring and Supporting ARCGIS · 72 Months of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server · 84 Months Experience with Wireless Computing · 60 Months Experience with DNN & SSL · 84 Months Experience with Network Routers, Bridges, Hubs · 60 Months Experience with SharePoint Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifications to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
