The developer will create scalable applications, automated workflows, and integrated solutions that support productivity and operational efficiency for NCDOT users and customers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power Apps (both canvas and model driven), Power Automate flow design, and creating robust solutions that incorporate SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services. Candidates should be comfortable integrating Power Platform solutions with external APIs, databases, and third party systems through custom connectors and advanced automation. Knowledge of Power Platform governance, security best practices, environment management, ALM processes, and deployment strategies across development and production is required. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration or workflow issues are essential for success in this role. This is not a Power Platform administration role, but ideal candidates will have experience deploying solutions and working within Power Platform environments as well as Azure DevOps. Preferred: Microsoft certifications including PL-900 Role/Responsibilities: Support ongoing application maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting issues and performing routine updates.
