The selected candidate will provide Computer Systems Analysis Services and will become a member of a project team working with the Business Analyst to develop Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) SAS programs to extract data from our operational data sources and load into designated reporting data marts for Business Intelligence (BI) reporting. Responsibilities: ? Design and implementation of the dimensional data model for medical, pharmacy and eligibility data files using SAS datasets ? Create and update the system design documentation for the data marts ? Perform in-depth data discovery validating source data integrity constraints ? Develop change data capture processing ? Perform in-depth data profiling ? Develop specific exception handling processes Required Skills: ? Ability to work with business analyst and users to gather requirements and interpret these requirements into technical specifications ? In-depth understanding of dimensional modeling concepts ? In-depth understanding of the data warehousing life cycle ? Extensive SAS programming knowledge ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Bachelor?s in computer science ? Minimum of four (4) years of ETL and Data architecture experience working with large data sets ? Minimum of three (3) years of SAS programming experience utilizing Base SAS and general knowledge of SAS statistical functions Preferred skills: ? Healthcare insurance industry knowledge ?
