Responsibilities: -Interview users to obtain requirements for new/existing applications (data, reports, analyses, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance). -Work with BAs to identify and understand source data systems. -Map source system data to data warehouse models. -Translate requirements into technical specifications. -Support/Assist with creating architecture that supports requirements given budget constraints, data and resources. -Support/Assist with evolving models to meet changing requirements. -Support/Assist with developing process to capture and maintain metadata from all data warehousing components. -Support/Assist with estimating system capacity to meet processing requirements. -Support/Assist with identification of potential data sources. -Lead and perform adaptation of ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements. -Communicate with DBA on physical database designs. -Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes. -Validate that data warehouse meets requirements and service level agreements. -Coordinate/conduct prototype reviews. Requirements: -Business Analysis, Architecture, and System Design/Development. -Experience with nonclinical data.
