This resource will be utilized on an existing project within DOT as Business Analyst. The main responsibilities of this position include the following: analysis of complex legacy applications, development and implementation of technical solutions for major modifications to legacy applications, gather and document business and system requirements, provide impact analysis on technical and business environments, develop and publish communications to stakeholders, and develop, negotiate, communicate and meet major deadlines and deliverables. This position will manage assigned tasks and timelines and be a key member of the project team. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: REQUIRED: 10 or more years experience in corporate or government as business analyst. Proven experience in programming techniques, programming languages. Proven knowledge of principles and techniques of computer programming, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation. Proven experience with analysis and design. Excellent communication skill (written, verbal, presentations) Excellent organization, analytical, planning and scheduling skills Ability to resolve highly complex problems. Proven experience with financial processes analysis and modification. Experience with developing and presenting status reporting for multiple levels of management and external stakeholders (Executive, management, technical and business) Self-starter who can work with a large and diverse team of business, management and IT individuals. Demonstrated experience working with large project teams and multiple vendors Experience identifying, documenting and presenting business process re-engineering in multiple organizations Microsoft Suite experience (e.g.,Word, Excel, PowerPoint), COBOL, CICS, TSO, MVS JCL, ENDEVOR, CA Tools, SQL, DB2 and VSAM PREFERRED: Experience with State or county government Information Technology Project Management   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
