This includes helping to establish and implement project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments for Project Manager approval, ensuring project documentation is created and approved, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues to the Project Manager appropriately. Responsible for assisting with tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Assists Project Manager(s) and/or Program Manager(s) in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. Must possess at least intermediate knowledge and proficiency in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Project Management Professional certification is desired but not required. Experience 1. 2-4 years of IT work experience, including 2 or more years assisting in the management of projects. 2. Solid, demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, project, SharePoint, Outlook). Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel is required. 3. Preference will be given to candidates with IT project management experience or experience assisting with managing IT projects. Business Analysis: Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling. 2. System Analysis & Design: Ability to perform System Analysis & Design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques. 3. Facilitation: Ability to expertly facilitate joint analysis workshops with customers. 4.
