These are 6+ month contract positions. This is a Business Analyst role for an analyst responsible for Enterprise Analysis, Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation, Requirements Analysis, Requirements Management and Communication, Solution Assessment and Validation for a variety of projects. The analyst will is responsible for eliciting business requirements and the actual business functionality as defined by the user, not simply their expressed desires. Facilitate communication between organizational units and play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology, and serve as a translator between those groups. Analysis will be performed to understand the current state of a system as a basis for the later identification of business needs and validate solutions that meet business needs, goals, or objectives. The Analyst is expected to develop and document future state business and stakeholder requirements, use cases, processes, workflows, training, and user guides need to implement an application. Analyst is also expected to develop and document presentations for training. Experience and Requirements Required ? Experienced Senior Business Analyst ? 8-12 years business analysis experience ? Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration, and/or significant related experience. ? Excellent written and oral communication skills ? Strong facilitation skills ? Business and Stakeholder Requirements development ? Business Process development ? Use Case and Workflow development ? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Visio, MS PowerPoint, and SQL ? Test script development and execution ? Training development ? User Guides development ? Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment Desired ? Proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications; familiarity with developing macros and automating functions ? Electrical Utilities experience ? Understanding and application of tasks and techniques of the IIBAs current Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK). ? Certification of Competency in Business AnalysisTM (CCBATM) Designation ? Certified Business Analysis ProfessionalTM (CBAP) Designation. ?
