The IT Business Analyst will customize and configure workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications and test layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. The Business Analyst may specialize in one or more business areas such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Order Processing Sales Support or Inventory Management or specialize in a specific software or system. 1. Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain business requirements for various projects and/or systems from initial phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet acceptance standards. 2. Develop requirements documentation and diagrammatic models such as use cases, functional specifications and coordinate the capture of process models and functional testing, ensuring system is functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well integrated. 3. Understand the source and use of key business data and prepares analysis reports to enable business and design decisions. 4. Provide level 3 user support and support requirements as well as coordinate resolution of issues to include change management, root cause analysis, and appropriate escalation as needed. 5. Develop and manage user acceptance criteria and coordinate end user training. 6. Assist Project Managers in project timeline definition related to user documentation requirements including review phases, level of effort and duration of requirements management activities. 7. Assist in the creation of standard format, content and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality. INTAKE 9-21-15 From a techincal side, looking for people that have web development, Salesforce experience is a plus. Visio/Data flow diagrams would be great. Typical BA-being able to source Business and Functional requirements. Extensive experience writing test plans. Writing test scenarios. System integration testing-expect BA to coordinate that. Comfortable working with vendors that have portion of the testing responsibilities. Who is responsible for what? Contacts for each vendor? How we will get data loaded in a timely manner? These are all important considerations. Someone with a lot of this type of experience. Typically works better if this person comes from service oriented or retail background. Primary tools. QA complete. Case Complete. JIRA. Visio Self-starter, open personality, comfortable engaging in conversation. Bachelors is not required. 5+ years experience Good level of experience seeking and documenting requirements, but also testing. New position based on increased workflow.
