We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Business Analyst, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Work with end users to review/analyze existing workflows, reports, and documentation. Participate in business user and stakeholder meetings for requirements gathering sessions. Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive use cases which will also contain requirements. All documents will be done according to ITS standards. Analysis of what statistical reports will be needed, document the requirements, and design the reports Participate in the development and updating of Test cases/scripts utilizing Quality Center Execute tests and record results using Quality Center. This will also include recording and tracking of defects. Interact with ITS staff, business users and stakeholders as necessary to determine and implement functional and technical requirements Participate in status meetings and provide weekly reports. Provide knowledge transfer to state staff in order to implement and support the system. Work closely with the project manager and functional manager to ensure timely deliverables. Work with end users and development teams to document and resolve application issues Mandatory Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience eliciting/extracting detailed business requirements from customer/project stakeholders or system artifacts. 84 months experience in obtaining and writing business, user, and functional requirements, use cases, process models, workflows, creating screen mock-ups, report mockups, and technical documents with attention to detail. 60 months experience developing/maintaining test plans and detailed test cases, executing those tests, validating test results, and logging/tracking related defects. 24 months experience with automated testing or experience using HP Quality Center. 24 months experience designing user interfaces using tools such as Balsamiq or equivalent.
