Focusing on document management platforms, workflow solutions and information architecture, the individual will work collaboratively with global cross functional teams to design, implement and support system solutions which deliver new business capabilities and drive better business outcomes. This is a hands-on role, requiring the person to execute all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC). This is a contract position scheduled to last 6 months. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This person will combine business system analysis experience gained in the pharmaceutical industry, together with strong knowledge of SDLC, to drive continued development of the clients business capabilities. They will be familiar with working in global and dynamic team environment with proven experience in the creation of requirements specifications, data flow maps, process maps, functional design, testing and training documents. Good presentation skills are required as is the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. · Design, implement, and support new IT enabled business capabilities including designing information taxonomy & security models for an enterprise document collaboration system. · Analyze, plan, design, implement and support applications built on top of the enterprise document sharing platform including identifying the value and business benefits from these applications. · Create and maintain information architecture diagrams required for effective information governance · Work collaboratively with the internal IT team, internal business partners, and external vendors to develop, implement and support new business capabilities · Manage projects and deliver consistently to the expectations of different stakeholders · Facilitate effective requirements definition and design sessions · Rapidly translate complex user requirements into detailed functional design specifications · Ensure compliance with SDLC and computer systems validation policies and procedures. PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS · 5 plus years of relevant IT systems experience in a business analyst role within the pharmaceutical industry · Experience with document sharing/management platforms, workflow solutions, project collaboration tools or solutions for the pharmaceutical industry is highly desired · Strong knowledge of and experience using formal SDLC methodologies, particularly business and functional requirements analysis · Strong ability to understand complex data models · Experience working within global virtual teams of internal and external resources to successfully deliver projects · Ability to develop strong and collaborative relationships with people at all levels within different functions · Must be self-motivated, results orientated, a critical thinker and detail oriented · Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic work environment · Good presentation, communication, facilitation and influence skills · Adaptable to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change · Calm, resilient and flexible when faced with challenges, constraints, frustration or adversity · Highly aware of how his/her actions impacts others, drive to self-develop and strong desire to excel · Bachelor degree in business, information system related deg   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
