The position will manage the tactical day to day activities for the Service Logistics team and will serve as the primary contact for all support and customer requests and manage for service inventory. Required skillset: Energetic team player who will demonstrate customer first attitude in daily activities response time, problem solving and solution put forward An individual who will take initiative, drive results in a fast pace SLA environment Process and execution oriented with excellent follow through mechanism and clear articulation of requirements Cross functional teamwork with the customer support and planning organization Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for service logistics inquiries and customer escalations o Troubleshoot and resolve any logistics related escalation working directly with the service logistics partner, Nimble support or Customers o Manage the service logistics inbox to ensure all requests are processed within 24 hours SLA o Investigate/research cause of failure and document root cause and preventive action plan; oversee execution of preventive action plan o Liaise with hardware quality team to ensure customers are returning defective parts required for failure analysis o Prepare monthly business review slides to articulate service logistics delivery performance Lead service inventory management program at Nimble Storage o Oversee service inventory cycle counts and physical inventory strive for 100% accuracy o Oversee all service inventory transactions for accuracy and timely completion: Receiving purchase orders, transfer orders, submitting purchase requisitions o Prepare monthly reports for finance team for month end close process o Run reverse logistics program to recover defective part back from the customers who have failed to return the parts on-time Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Business or relevant experience and/or evidence of exceptional ability - Experience with ERP systems and purchase order processing - Able to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change - Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details and deadlines - Able to work well with others in a team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel - Effective communication skills and customer service approach - Action-oriented and solution-driven and able to work in a fast pace environment - Must be detail-oriented Service Logistics and Inventory Lead Nimble Storage is seeking a Service Logistics and Inventory lead position within the Global Logistics Team.
