Business analysis for strategic equity long only and long/short projects . Project management and business analysis for front office small maintenance & enhancement projects . Production support for equities reporting and feeds to downstream quant portfolio management systems Expected Responsibilities: . Gathers user and functional requirements for equity and hedge fund trading, portfolio management, and performance reporting . Analyzes, specifies, validates, and manages user and functional requirements . Develops and presents concept alternatives using prototypes, story boards, and wire frames . Evaluates technical solutions . Assists with integration test plans and supports user acceptance testing . Analyzes application problems . Works with colleagues on development and troubleshooting . Identifies stakeholders and defines scope . Analyzes and recommends process improvement . Manages stakeholder expectations and acceptance of solutions . Project planning and coordination including schedule management and status reporting . Creates meeting agendas, captures minutes and action items . Work with external vendors on new initiatives or in-place production applications Suggested Experience & Qualifications: . 4 to 6 years of analysis experience in trading, settlement, and/or performance systems . Experience with buy-side equity, fixed-income, and/or derivative processes and systems . Working understanding of financial instruments . Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, document and verify user and functional requirements . Working knowledge of SQL Server . Superior oral and written communication skills . Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or an analytical discipline . Experience with LVTS, CRD, Murex, ITG Triton. RediPlus, Point, Axiom, Perform, PACE .
