Provides infrastructure technical expertise, analysis and specifications for IT systems to meet business requirements in accordance with IT architecture, policies and standards; translate requirements into technical specifications; coordinate construction, installation, configuration and testing of IT systems; and identifies, troubleshoots and resolves system technical issues. Key Responsibilities: Develop technical requirements to support Cloud computing infrastructure vision, services and supporting components Analyze and coordinate implement improvements for security, archiving and high-availability Identify security, compliance and audit policies/requirements and integrate into infrastructure technical requirements Perform analysis to determine performance, scaling and resiliency requirements in partnership with other technology services Work with business and technology stakeholders to determine how to size infrastructure based on capacity forecasts Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive, courteous, and respectful Assists in technical analysis of potential solutions including evaluating the technical fit and viability of commercial-of-the-shelf products versus custom built solution Analyze IT Service Management tool reports to understand behaviors, trends and impacts to infrastructure Required Qualifications Working knowledge integrating and deploying Cloud computing and storage services Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills The ability to understand and assess proposed solutions in order to determine how closely they meet requirements and if they will deliver the desired business outcomes.
