This position will assist with the administration of this stack of Microsoft tools and provide technical assistance to developers utilizing these tools. The position will also be used to work with end users on gathering business requirements and creating dashboards and reports to meet those requirements. Please note that this position requires the resource to have a strong prior experience with the DW Side as well as ETL and reporting. A Reporting expert will not suffice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Works with business partners to plan and implement enhancements to the existing BI infrastructure, Report Server and the Data Gateway. 2. Serve as subject matter expert in data warehousing and BI solution design, development and implementation. 3. Designs, develops and maintains data models, PowerBI datasets, ETL and other reporting infrastructure components for the Data Gateway, BI and reporting environments. 4. Creates, enhances, and performance tunes reports to support BI and Data Gateway administration. 5. Responsible for the administration, maintenance, operational support, configuration management, and manages security for Enterprise BI tools. 6. Serves as subject matter expert in BI tools working on problems of diverse scope and complexity. 7. Creates, enhances, and performance tunes reports. 8. Provides training and support to enterprise reporting community. 9. Accountable for maintaining the security and confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information or data in any medium regarding the State, employees of the State and customers/citizens. Accessing or disclosing such information or data must be deemed necessary for the performance of ones job responsibilities and must be authorized by the employees supervisor. 10. Responsible for following the defined SDLC, ensuring solution development adheres to the process controls. 11. Availability to work after hours and/or weekends and on-call, as specified by supervisor. REQUIRED SKILLS and COMPETENCIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Strong report writing experience using BI tools (preferably Power BI). 10. Experience with the entire Microsoft BI stack preferred (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS.) 11. Knowledge of superior customer service standards and practices 12. Ability to work independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments 13.
