It is a C# application. Position to be filled will perform project management, business analysis and quality assurance roles. Stakeholders work business hours in offices throughout the state of Idaho. Developer works remotely part-time after business hours. Project will rely on Agile methodology, including 2 week sprints. Entire project is expected to be 4 months. Position will work on average 20 hours per week. Position requires flexible schedule to meet with various team members. Responsibilities include: - Consult with stakeholders to define business need. - Establish relationships with and elicit requirements from business and technical stakeholders - Review, analyze, validate, and communicate requirements in TFS throughout bug fix/change request implementation lifecycle - Document business processes in a manner that facilitates long term maintenance, business process automation, and process improvement - Utilizing Agile principles, coordinate with other project team members to ensure strategic prioritization, architecture, and implemenation of requirements through frequent releases - Design and execute Functional test cases to validate solution aligns with requirements - Plan and facilitate Integration testing with Department of Environmental Quality - Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Aid in design and delivery of system training Work location: • Prefered: • IDL Coeur dAlene Staff office (3284 W. Industrial Loop, Coeur dAlene, ID) • IDL Boise Staff office (301 N. 6th Street, Boise, ID) • Alternative: Remote Agency Expected Deliverables The Business Process Engineer will coordinate with the IT Database and Applications Manager, the projects team, and project stakeholders to: - Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog in TFS - Draft and refine User Stories and Bugs in TFS - Facilitate acceptance of scope of 2 week sprints with C# and/or GIS developer(s) - Development and execution of test cases in TFS - Develop training materials as needed Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Experience: Two plus years of experience Education: Four (4) year college degree or equivalent technical study Description of skills and knowledge include: - Expertise in project management within software implementation projects - Expertise in business analysis within software implementation projects - Expertise in quality assurance within software implementation projects - Expertise in Agile Scrum within software implementation projects - Basic working knowledge of land management/natural resource terminology and concepts preferred - Basic working knowledge of enterprise GIS concepts preferred - Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Limited in-state travel may be required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
