The applications managed by this team are used by Attorneys, Paralegals, Compliance Managers, and Fees Consultants to manage various functions within the Law Department line of business. This Business Systems Consultant will act as a liaison to this large financial institutions Law Department from the technology teams by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Qualified candidates will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet Wells Fargo Law Department requirements. The candidate will work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Qualified candidates will have a proven history in preparing specifications for system changes across both in-house development and vendor-provided solutions. Candidate will provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Primary responsibilities include the following: • managing the testing spaces within the Legal Technology group . • analysis and design of new systems and systems integrations, and planning and support for system upgrades • managing requirements and design clarifications meetings with project and business partners proactively and efficiently • guidance and leadership in system test planning • coordination, tracking, and command of system defects • project and release documentation and planning • building and sharing subject matter expertise between Legal Department business and Technology Operations Group processes • providing effort estimations for BSC portions of project sizings A successful candidate will demonstrate the following: • Excellent writing and communication skills • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills • Highly motivated and self-starter with the ability to prioritize workloads of self and team • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks Basic Qualifications: • Previous experience as a business tester, coordinating testing groups, with knowledge of creating test scripts, user stories and any ALM/QC experience Minimum Qualifications: • Previous experience coordinating testing groups • Previous experience managing a testing space • Experience in business systems consultant work including documenting business requirements, analyzing requirements, functional system design documents and process flows. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including being able to effectively communicate with business lines and internal team members. • Strong leadership abilities to be able to drive critical discussions and key business decisions. • Knowledge of creating test scripts, test data, user stories • Strong analytical skills • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel • Ability to work well under pressure and challenging deadlines Strong organizational skills • Ability to be self-directed Preferred Skills: • Legal and Compliance or Risk Management technolog   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
