Main tasks and responsibilities Analysis and Solution Capture relevant information provided in elicitation sessions. Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations. Effectively validate and document requirement priorities based on detected business drivers. Produce detailed technical design specifications for new or changed system functionality. Use a variety of elicitation techniques appropriate to each situation and stakeholder. Create and refine preliminary design/mockup of new functionality. Accurately validate that documented requirements match the intention of stakeholders needs. Define acceptance criteria that reflects the stakeholders expectation. Help detecting and analyzing the impact of non- functional requirements on functional requirements and solution architecture. Select the proper business analysis approach. Work with customers to identify required changes, document changes appropriately. Assure what is built match what it is expected from the stakeholders standpoint. Participate in development stages, working together with technical teams. Be a reference for developers in terms of what needs to be implemented. Work with QA teams to make sure they understand the requirements, objective and approach, and that the testing scenarios identified reflect the requirements. Project Execution Understand project plans and be able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines. Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules. Identify, communicate and collaborate effectively with team members on issues and conflicts that have an impact on time, cost, scope, quality and risk. Prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Assist developers and QA analysts in the implementation phase and early detection of misunderstandings and bugs. Create presentations, training material and training sessions for stakeholders or team members.
