We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior Business Analyst Complex multi-tenancy capable and web-based (thin client) Real Property Tax System (RPSv5) as well as legislatively mandated STAR relief. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Review of Department system and processes for the purposes of development of process flows, requirements, and specifications. Develop project and system documentation. Develop criteria for evaluation of strategies. Prepare written and oral communication on project milestones and deliverables. Assist with test planning for integrated system Mandatory Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 60-84 months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 72 months experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements 60 months experience in preparing functional and detail system design documents 72 months experience with all phases of testing (i.e., system, integration, user acceptance and pilot) including the creation of use cases and test condition and the review of output. 36 Months experience systems analysis, testing, and implementation of a web-based system 36 Months experience in systems analysis for a multi-tiered transactional system. 36months DB2 experience working with large databases. 18 months experience mapping data elements from source to target schema. 24 Months experience writing, troubleshooting, and running basic and complex SQL queries. 12 months experience with Real Property Tax (e.g. valuation, assessments, and exemptions).
