We have a 24-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior Business Analyst Will work alongside the Expert Business Analysists and ITS staff on the Grants Gateway project to complete requirements gathering, produce written documentation and test various system functionality. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Assist in providing requirements for new functionality, as well as modifications to existing functionality Test new functionality delivered by the vendor. This includes testing “fixes” for previously reported errors that the vendor indicates have been corrected as well as full regression testing after each new build. When an error is discovered, determine the cause (i.e. be able to reproduce it), write up the cause and symptoms and report the error as a defect. Assist in developing and implementing cutover plans to transition Grant programs to the system. This includes employing business reengineering skills in planning for, configuring, testing, and deploying grant opportunities in the Gateway as well as ongoing monitoring to ensure the system is performing as expected. Mandatory Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 72 months experience in performing requirements gathering and business analysis, producing written documentation of requirements; system design and implementation 12 months experience performing requirements gathering, business analysis, and cutover planning and execution specific to a configuration of the Agate IntelliGrants core. 12 months experience testing of a configuration of Agate IntelliGrants core, determining and documenting root causes and effect of identified issues. 12 months experience of business analysis and regression testing on a government project.
