POSITION: Implementation Manager (Project Manager – Consultant) SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: THE CFS PROJECT TEAM S RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, THE CFS PROJECT IS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS) AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING, MAINTAINING, AND OBTAINING FEDERAL CERTIFICATION OF A FEDERALLY-MANDATED CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM (CSES) THAT WILL PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT TO THE OPERATION OF SOUTH CAROLINAS CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT (CSE) PROGRAM AS WELL AS FOR COMPLETING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FAMILY COURT CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FCCMS) FOR THE 46 CLERKS OF COURT. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: DSS is seeking an Implementation Manager to be responsible for working with the State and software development contractor to plan and execute a successful implementation. The Implementation Manager is also responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper execution of the development contractors implementation management plans and processes. Scope of Work • While working with the State Project Team and System Development Contractor, produce and manage the detailed implementation plans. These plans encompass all aspects of implementation including connectivity, system deployment, help desk, and implementation support. • Work with System Development Contractor to plan and execute system deployment. In this role, work with DSS and county (IT and Clerk of Court) staff to prepare for pilot and regional system rollout. Coordinate on-site support and help desk activities. • Monitor and report the execution of the System Development Contractors performance under the CFS Project contract as it relates to all implementation activities. This involves working with System Development Contractors tools and appropriately extracting data to produce metrics and reports • Coordinate activities to install and test network connectivity to each county; determine and document hardware/software requirements for required connectivity; ensure repeatable process to install VPN connectivity is defined and documented • Lead Transition discussions and efforts to plan and prepare for the first year of system deployment (legacy and new system); Coordinate tasks associated with required system interfaces during this transition period • Coordinate activities for the transition of all current computing environments to the State Data Center (DTO) • Coordinate communications to stakeholders/users. Work with Project Organizational Change Management team and other DSS/project employees to develop and deliver key messages • Build, update, and manage the State implementation sections of the project schedule • Ensure implementation related tasks are completed on time; provide status to PMO • Work with State test team and other project employees to plan and prepare for user acceptance testing at State and county offices • Coordinate and conduct si   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
