The Business Analyst will provide expertise in assessing Financial processes enabled on Oracle GL, GIS, FA, PA, AP, PO, CM and AR, and will advise on proper setup, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live options. Global applications and processes will require working with Finance and cross-functional team members across all regions. A background in Oracle Financials (R12 and/or 11i) is required. Responsibilities - Play vital role in the Oracle ERP system, including coordinating new implementations, using out of the box functionality i.e. minimum customization, troubleshooting user issues, reporting, validation testing, service request resolutions, etc. - Lead Finance stakeholders through gathering and defining business requirements for strategic programs, and translate requirements into best-practice solutions - Identify and document current state process, system, and data flows - Define future state requirements and perform gap analysis to provide solution recommendations - Partner with IT Development team to translate requirements into technical specifications per Oracle application AIM methodology with an eye towards simplifying processes via standard Oracle functionality. Contributor to the functional solution (MD050), business logic, data, applications and integration that enable and support business and financial strategies - Coordinate with Finance/Operational organizations to define and develop business process and system changes, and drive ownership to stakeholder groups - Develop comprehensive process scenarios/test scripts, track progress, and drive issue resolution during various testing cycles (CRP, SIT, UAT, Performance) - Coordinate Business Readiness activities, including communication, end-user training and access, data conversion, and cutover strategy - Ensure compliance with internal controls/Governance - Define transition/training plan for hand-off to appropriate Production support groups - Work within established SDLC project management methodology to manage relationship between IT and Finance with regards to scope, deliverables, and timing to support efficient portfolio delivery - Assist with user training on a variety of business operation applications (Oracle, SharePoint, etc), analyzing reporting problems, notifying and collaborating with the appropriate department and/or vendor to resolve - Assist with Business Readiness activities, including communication, end-user training and access, data conversion, and cutover strategy - Define transition/training plan for hand-off to appropriate Production support groups - Prefer Bachelors degree and 3-6 years related Finance / Business Analyst experience with 2+ years in business process analysis, requirements definition and process mapping. - Oracle EBS experience with GL, GIS, FA, PA, AP, PO, CM, AR (versions 11i / R12). Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle techno-functional design, configurations, and support. - Thorough understanding of business process and systems flows, and ability to consider implications to current and future state business environment - Strong analytical and problem solving. - Ability to gather, monitor and document business requirements - Ability to decide, act, and influence others - Solid verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills.
