The objectives are: 1. Provide a central location for storing and accessing training material including PowerPoint presentations and videos; 2. Track the completion of this training by users; 3. Store recipe information that will be made available to all food service directors statewide; 4. Provide a scaling mechanism to accurately update recipe information based on the number of meals to be produced; 5. Provide a guide for menu creation; 6. Be an operational resource available to all food service staff; 7. Act as a connection between Farm to School and the South Carolina Garden Network for school menus. By October 31, 2020, we want the system to be online and deployed to include training users statewide on the application. SCDE is particularly looking for a Business Analyst that has knowledge and experience with application implementations and/or development of large/enterprise software applications who can work proactively with project team and stakeholders to define the business requirements and test cases/plans for each solution. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are primary activities which the Business Analyst will be expected to perform. • Interviewing the stakeholders on this email to identify their business requirements (and they may identify others); • Learning about the Office of Health and Nutrition and their responsibilities to the students of South Carolina; • Researching other existing websites that are used for similar functionality; • Pull information about costs; • Report project progress weekly to Director, Project and Application Management.
