The driver and vehicle projects that this resource will be working on will be determined by the priorities as set by client and DTMB. Projects that will be included in this scope of work are the Road Funding Project (90%) and the SIGMA project (10%). Each of these projects are related to the Driver and Vehicle scope of work that client and DTMB have prioritized to be of most importance. 12-15 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Job Description: Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. •Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. •Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work. Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. Develops RFPs. Assist in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms. Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions. •Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Required Skills: * Experience working as a business analyst on software development projects (full project lifecycle) whose scope included writing a complex system. * Experience working on software development projects as a business analyst where the project was focused on public facing or large enterprise web dev * Experience working on an Oracle web application development effort that was written in .NET. * Experience writing functional designs which includes high level requirements, user stories, process overviews and documenting screen mockups * Exp producing design docs on a software dev proj where the methodology was agile, scrum or a more formal method, ie: UML from Rational Unified Process * Experience working with data analysis including basic SQL skills used against a Relational Database Management System (Oracle, SQL Server or DB2) Desired Skills: * Experience using Visual Studio Software * Experience using Balsamiq Software * Experience with Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler * Experience with LINQ Pad 4 * Experience with TFS   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
