First, it will help assess the feasibility and integration of Addictions and Mental Health (AMH) Provoiders with Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) and/or State Program imperatives including integration with the Oregon Web Infrastructure for Treatment and Services (OWITS). Secondly it will assess the capabilities of those same Provider systems to exchange health information as an intregal part of Oregon Health Information Exchange capabilities. CCOs will be accountable for the health care of its members, including serving members who are dually-eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. Oregons Medicaid program will serve as an early demonstration of a health care delivery system based on CCOs; The goal is that all Medicaid clients in the state will be enrolled with a CCO as rapidly as possible. This assessment begins a process to examine how to best to fully integrate information about care for the AMH clients enrolled with the Provider and Coordinated Care Organizations.
