JOB DESCRIPTION: Eagle Pace Business Analyst Eagle PACE is the Enterprise Investments Data warehouse for Janus. It supports the production of Marketing Collateral, Website content, Client Statements and reports for internal clients such as Portfolio Managers. Janus uses Eagle data marts extensively to support these functions. We use Cognos for internal reports off the data marts. Candidates for this position develop business requirements, functional requirements, and work with quality assurance, developers and internal clients on testing. This candidate will also be responsible for analysis and testing of Eagle uploaders, field attributes, and data mart configurations. Candidates will work on both projects and production support. The Janus Investments Data team works very closely with the Janus investments team and candidates should expect a challenging but rewarding environment that provides opportunity for growth in the finance industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop business requirements Develop functional requirements Work with the developers to create technical design documents Participate in design Research issues by: using the Eagle Pace screens, reviewing logs and data files, and by running SQL Perform unit and integration tests, as well as support UAT testing Familiarity with the Eagle PACE data warehouse and data marts Experience working closing with business partners Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to work on multiple assignments, work independently and prioritize MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years+ in asset management technology Strong SQL Skills, Oracle preferred 2+ years testing PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Cognos or Business Objects 2 years+ as business analyst on Eagle PACE MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
