Job Description :

IT Developer

12 month contract

Houston - starting remote, eventually onsite

Responsibilities:

Participates as a member of and leads development teams.

Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements.

Prepares code stubs for others.

Completes code to implement solutions.

Designs solutions for others to code.

Designs, prepares, and executes Unit tests.

Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.

Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems.

Contributes to strategic direction for teams.

Works independently to construct highly complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance; coaches others on model development.

Assist with developing custom Power BI data models and algorithms to drive business solutions and tools

Knowledge and Skills:

MUST HAVE

Rapid Miner, Alteryx, or any extract, transform and load application

7 or more years of experience writing code IN databases like SqlServer; including testing of tools

Technical Skills:

Software development,

Project and release management, desktop product and Web development, analysis, design, programming, test plans, project coordination, customer direction, flow documentation, design specifications.

Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies and Qt library.
Advanced Technology Stack Experience:

C#, C/C++, SQL, ASP.NET, REST, JSON, XML, CSS, HTML, Design and project tools implementation.

Rapid Miner, Alteryx or any extract, transform and load experience a plus

RDBMS: MS SQL Server, Sybase SQL Server, Oracle.

Platforms and Architectures:

MS Windows, IIS, SaaS, UEFI, UNIX/Linux, networks, AWS.

Experience of multiple full release cycles.

Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.

Power BI Applications Experience (a plus)

Develop custom Power BI data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. (a plus)

Advanced understanding of modern software development tools and SCM.

Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools.

Strong General Project Management Skills.

Strong Customer/ Vendor Management.

Strong Business Analysis. Master in DBA. Advanced Web Technologies Skills.
