Working and current knowledge of these is vital to the success of this support member. All Bank branches have Cisco Routers Models# 2600-2800; Data Center has 3800-3900, ASA 1000 and ISR model; As well as Cisco switches models 2900, 3500, 3750, and Cat 6509 ROLE: - Provide general relief to other Cisco FTE techs: Must have skills: senior level Cisco CCNP preferred ,Senior trouble shooting skills, Switch level, working knowledge of Port Security; - Timely responds to Help Desk Trouble Tickets and handles related issues. - Assists with resolution of end user workstation issues. - Troubleshoots Layer2/Layer3 issues and VPN Client connectivity issues. - Performs user provisioning and troubleshooting using Cisco ACS. - Maintains and utilizes knowledge and experience with QoS - Configures and administers Microsoft DHCP, DNS and WINS, Cisco ACS and Cisco Network Devices. - Orders, tests, and troubleshoots network circuits (T1, Frame Relay, and Metro Ethernet). - Proficient use of protocol analyzers and network sniffers to diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues. - Open Cisco TAC cases and work issues through to resolution. - Participates in on-call service rotation; provides 24 x 7 production support on a rotating basis. -Performs occasional night/weekend work as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: CCNP Certification: first choice- 5-7 years experience CCNA Certification-second choice must have 7-10 years senior level experience to make up for the lack of Certification Minimum 3 years of experience with Cisco Powered Network Infrastructure, including design, implementation, and ongoing management and troubleshooting required. Experience with CiscoWorks Experience with SolarWinds Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Microsoft Visio Must be self-starter who is inspired by technology, highly organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
