It is seeking candidates for DataStage ETL Developer for a 1 year contract position to support HP project in Conway (AR). Healthcare experience is preferred. Required Skills: · 4 or more years of work experience as an ETL developer or an ETL architect with designing, developing, unit-testing, and documenting ETL projects in IBM Data Stage, and IBM InfoSphere suits · Experience with data mapping, data extract, transformations, reusability, availability of ETL load and ETL reconciliation processes · Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence projects, having delivered multiple solutions in these areas · Experience with IBM InfoSphere Quality Stage and Data Quality concepts · Experience implementing IBM InfoSphere CDD (Change Data Delivery) and CDC stages · Experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer and metadata workbench · Experience with Windows scripting to process through DataStage objects · Knowledge of configuration and release management processes, preferably within HP EDGE framework. · Experience with at least one Software Configuration Management Tool, preferably StarTeam. · Experience in implementing optimizing and debugging derived SQL statements · Experience in implementing, optimizing, and debugging stored procedures · Experience with business processes and the automated workflow · Thorough understanding of IT (SDLC) delivery methodologies · Understanding of relational databases and data modeling/database design · Experience with integration with enterprise applications · Mentor peers with ETL skills and other necessary scripting, reviewing, and documenting · Strong Oracle SQL Query Development Experience is required. · Tuning experience is required · 5 years of development experience with the following application developer tools is preferred: C, UNIX (HPUX, AIX, Linux, Solaris), PLSQL, and Oracle. · UNIX shell scripting experience is required · Project Maintenance and Production support experience is preferred · Data warehousing skills (Kimballs methodology star schema preferably) is preferred Responsibilities: · Apply specialized knowledge to conceptualize, design, develop, unit-test, configure, and implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions) business and technical software solutions through application of appropriate standard software development life cycle methodologies and processes. · Interact with the Client and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. · Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned components. · Understand and use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. · Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project parameters. · Prepare system documentation. · Conform to security and quality standards. · Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
