Duties and Resp: Act as the technical lead for designing, implementing, unit testing and documenting Hardware, Electrical and PCB changes required to support identified 3M Parking projects Ensure design and solution meets ROHS, UL/ETL and other required certification requirements Support component obsolescence investigations for current product lines Support 3M manufacturing and board suppliers in production and verification of 3M Parking products Ability to produce firmware and driver code to support 3M parking product solutions Bug fixing support of current 3M Parking product solutions Required Qualifications: Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written Minimum Bachelors degree in Hardware Engineering, Electronic Design or Electrical Engineering or related equivalent 15 or more years of experience with embedded systems engineering/solution development projects in a senior role 3 or more years C/C++ programming experience for embedded products 10 or more years Hardware design experience, including PCB design and layout, electrical design and UL/ETL certification and design See skill matrix for full list Preferred Qualifications: Experience delivering medium to large projects from start to finish Experience with gathering requirements and writing specifications Demonstrable experience in design and developing with ARM and/or IA/Atom platforms !   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
