Description:
Contract to Hire job after 6 months with conversation salary 250k to 280k plus benefits.

The Sr. Director Cloud Design Center will lead the team of senior architects, cloud-native application developers, and solution delivery consultants and be responsible for developing Cloud native application architecture, design patterns, and best practices, socialize these best practices with IT development teams, and delivering end to end business solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

As part of the IT Engineering job family, this position leads the team responsible for delivery of best practices, to design, develop, and support resilient, secure, multi-channel, high-transaction, on/off-premise, cloud-based solutions.
Directs and oversees technical teams in the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into architecture.
Proactively ensures new and existing software solutions are developed with insight into industry best practices, strategies, and architectures.
Drives the Cloud Design Center to actively engage with IT development teams throughout the application development cycle to ensure successful continues deployment to production and operation at defined scale and reliability targets.

· Champions teams understanding, usage and adherence to company methodology, policies, standards, and controls. Advocates and drives change based on measurable indicators when appropriate.

· Oversees the management of multiple application portfolios and/or provides resources in support of those portfolios.

Directs the operations of multiple units and departments by identifying customer and operational needs; analyzing resources, costs, and forecasts and incorporates them into business plans
Translates business strategy into an actionable business requirement.
Overseeing the recruitment, selection, and development of talent.

** Minimum Qualifications:**

Five (5) years of work experience in a role of developing standard architecture, design patterns, shared libraries and enable multiple development teams to deliver solutions using these standard architecture and design patterns.
Excellent communication skills and extensive experience leading technical teams and four (4) years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above)
Twelve (12) + years of progressive IT experience, with demonstrated success in software architecture, design, development, testing, operationalization, monitoring and support in a large organization.
Five (5) + years of work experience developing cloud native applications on cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry/IBM Bluemix or container-based platforms like Kubernetes /Docker.
Five (5) + years of experience developing microservices using Java, NodeJs, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and other frameworks like Spring, Express, Koa.
Solid experience developing UI/UX components using industry best tooling like React/Redux, Angular, HTML5
Experience practicing CI/CD and DevOps, including automating various tests (unit, component, concurrency, multi user, load) with Git, Jenkins or similar tools
Bachelors degree in computer science, CIS, Engineering, or related field and Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in Technical team management, project management, IT consulting, or related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Four (4) years of work experience managing complex programs spanning across multiple vertical organizations.

· Four (4) years of work experience overseeing vendor relationships.

· Masters degree in business administration, Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
