Description : Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain CI/CD processes to support development teams - Implement and maintain Configuration Management with Ansible, Puppet, Consul or similarapplications on both Linux and Windows servers - Implement and maintain application monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog, Nagios, Zabbix or similar - Establish monitoring metrics and notifications to rapidly respond to system issues - Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues - Guide development teams in establishing key performance benchmarks and monitoring for applications - Identify potential security and performance issues for infrastructure and applications - Design, develop and implement tooling and processes to automate infrastructure provisioning for on-premiseVMware and cloud-based resources - Develop Proof of Concepts for new automation initiatives - Handle code deployments as needed for all environments - Work with development teams and business operations to establish change management processes - Support code versioning tools (Git) - Setup and configure Load Balancers, Firewalls, DNS, SSL and network connectivity to support software systems - Provide documentation and information to stakeholders as needed What the USBE agrees to do: 1. The USBE PD Coordinator will direct all work of the vendor. 2. The USBE PD Coordinator will approve and sign weekly timesheets. 3. The USBE PD Coordinator will provide the vendor with an annual evaluation of the vendors effectiveness in implementing the contracts scope of work. Resources may have access to sensitive data, including student personally identifiable information (PII). Accordingly, resources must comply with applicable security measures, including possibly mandatory background and security checks. In addition to the terms of State of Utah Contract #IT2462, this engagement shall also be governed by the following terms and conditions regarding student data privacy. 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS: a. USBE reserves all right, title, and interest, including all intellectual property and proprietary rights, in and to system data, Data, and all related data and content. b. Contractor is hereby designated as an agent of USBE for the limited purpose of receiving PII to fulfill the purposes of this contract. Contractor may use the PII as provided herein but may not transfer or otherwise convey PII to any other person, persons or entities. c. Contractor, as USBEs agent, shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to FERPA, the Utah Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, Utah Code § 53E-9-2 (“UFERPA”), and the Individuals with Disabilities Educational Act, 30 U.S.C. §1400 et seq. and 34 C.F.R. Part 300 (“IDEA”). d. Any terms that by their nature would survive the expiration of, completion, or termination of this Contract shall survive. e. Contractor shall, upon written request, permit USBE or its designated representatives to perform an assessment, audit, examination, or review of all of Contractors sites and environments in order to confirm Contractors compliance with this Contract; associated Contractors or Scopes of Work; and applicable laws and regulations. f.
