These skills and/or knowledge include: *Assembler language programming for operating systems environment *Knowledge of z/OS installation, customization, and maintenance *Sysplex operation and management *Knowledge of installation and maintenance of mainframe class peripherals *Problem determination *Capacity planning *Backup and disaster recovery planning *Maintenance of z/VM and z/Linux *Maintenance of WebSphere and its related products Skills: *Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing *Ability to interact with functional users and technical staff regarding business and information technology needs *Ability to listen and solve problems. *Experience applying general knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, hardware and software systems structures and operations, and computer programming languages and techniques to solve problems. *Experience using standard or conventional approaches to define, plan, organize, ,design, develop, modify, test and integrate computer hardware systems and mainframe operating systems. *Advanced level of experience in the System Modification Program Extended (SMP/E) installation and debugging of IBM and Computer Associates Software. *Experience analyzing and resolving ongoing technical issues and identifying potential improvements to increase technical infrastructure reliability   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
